When you arrive to the bay in Playa Carrillo we will send our dingy into the beach to ferry you out to the Kingfisher. We typically leave the mooring around 730 in the morning. It will take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hours running time before we have lines in the water, it all depends on currents, water color, bait, life etc.
We will have all the gear, bait, tackle, lunch sodas, snacks and COLD BEER ready to go. All you need to bring is your sunscreen, hats, and camera.
You will arrive back on the mooring around 5 in the evening on a full day and around 1 in the afternoon for a half day
As we fish primarily bait and switch with a lot of angler participation, we have found over the course of the years that this gear is the most user friendly and stands up to the long searing runs associated with large fish.
Among the non-fishing amenities are two bunks, a head and a sound system to play your favorite tunes on. The large foredeck provides an ideal place to take in the sun while waiting to hear the shout “ MARLIN, LEFT SHORT!!!!” from your captain on the bridge.
